The space formerly occupied by both Biscuit Station and Ruben's Downtown at the corner of North Person and Edenton Streets will become a convenience store in the coming weeks. A great location for a convenience store connecting the Idlewild and Oakwood area to Downtown Raleigh. There are a few other convenience stores just North on Person Street and then Taz's in Downtown, but a big gap in between. Hopefully, this new shop will do great business on this very busy corner of Northeast downtown.

Plus, Quality Grocery in Oakwood is still creeping along, so a handful of the Idlewild and Oakwood crowd that walk from the neighborhood to DTR will use this new shop as their stop over on their stroll.

hopefully, this will be more of a “craft beer” sort of store and not whats on New Bern Avenue eastbound.

Will probably be good for loitering.
