Klara’s Czech Restaurant Opening in Old Frazier’s Space on Hillsborough

We heard whispers a while back, after Frazier's closed for good, that a Czech restaurant would take over the Hillsborough Street restaurant space. We can now confirm that Klara's Restaurant, which serves 'Modern Czech Cuisine' will open soon in the space next to Porter's.
Currently Klara's has a location in Cary and we assume this is a second location. The Klara's in Cary is only open for dinner, but we hope that the Hillsborough Street location will offer lunch hours as well. We will confirm soon. Until then, you can check out the Cary Klara's menu here.

Klara’s in Cary was for sale on Craigslist a while back. I assume this is not an additional location but will be their next location.

This is the kinda thing that’ll probably do best on Hillsborough. Something that people who normally wouldn’t think to go out to eat on Hillsborough—-but will make a special trip for a real special place. (David’s Noodle Bar is kinda like that.) If it’s good, it’ll work.

My wife and I sent there for lunch today. I had the goulash entree, it was really good. My wife had the pork which was also very good. They said that they have been open for 3 weeks already.
We will be going back….
