First Friday February 3rd- designBox reveals its new space next to VAE and hosts a very special rocket themed art show. As we have talked about briefly, our editor Jed has a son who has been fighting a rare cancer for almost a year now. That kind of entrenched battle wears away at the strongest of families and this event is the second where the community has a chance to show their support. designBox has organized an all star cast of local artists generously donating work:
Victor Knight III
Matt Butler
Derek Toomes
Rachel Herrick
Ryan Cummings
Sarah Powers
Adam Peele
Beth Tacular
David Eichenberger
Jason Whitman
Keith Norval
Anna Pooris
Matt McConnell
Monica Damron
Casey Porn
Rebecca Necessary
Britt Freeman
Megan Sullivan
Patrick Fitzgerald
Suzanne Kratzer
100% of the proceeds go back to Oliver. This is one beautiful little boy with a charming personality and he is sure to become one of Raleigh's next great citizens. Folks, start saving your schillings this is a fabulous way to give back to someone who has selflessly helped Raleigh for years (Jed) via NR and you score a piece of work from some of Raleigh's finest practicing artists. Most of these artists never sell work for less than several hundred dollars, but all work in this show will be under $100.
Thanks to everyone who attended the TirNaNog fundraiser earlier this month and the TirNaNog Staff. Also, a huge thanks to designBox and the participating artists in this show. We greatly appreciate the community's selfless assistance to our most beloved writer and his family.

Hi, please create a page with a PayPal donation link. I looked for a PayPal link related to the last Oliver benefit and couldn’t find one. Make it easy on me - I’m lazy but generous.
Just wanted to let everyone know, there are even more artists participating than are listed on the invitation. It’s going to be a great event!

Hey Bill, and we will post formally about this, but you can send donations in via TirNaNog’s Oliver Fund. Thanks so much for your support.

I’d like to attend this, but don’t know where it is. Do you have an address?
Looks like 307 W Martin St.
Will pictures of the art work be posted online?
You’d think I’d have seen that. Sigh.
