You've probably drunk great sour beer at the Busy Bee, tasted one of their delicious Tom & Jack burgers on the best rooftop patio in town and seen multiple Hopscotch bands at the Hive. But, you've probably never heard opera being pelted from the second floor bar. Read below and check out what we think will be a positively overwhelming night of sopranos breaking wine glasses in a tiny urban space.

Our main question; "Where's the orchestra pit going to be located?"

Join us Jan. 12 7pm at the The Hive for opera as you've never imagined it. Yes, you heard that right...opera, but this isn't the opera you once heard in your grandmother's living room.  Members of the cast of the North Carolina Opera's January 19-22 performance of Philip Glass' Les Enfants Terribles will sing some songs by Glass, one of America's most famous living composers, as well as some covers by Radiohead, Rufus Wainwright and Lady Gaga.  It will be a cool night of music that's a prelude to the beautiful and haunting Les Enfants Terribles.  You won't want to miss it!
