With the recent news that Hostess has decided to close shop, a local baker has decided to make her own Twinkies.

Spotted at Cafe Helios last week (and gone with a quickness), the Twinkies were made by local baker Kim Hammer. Her small company, Bitty Cakes, makes most of the desserts you see at Helios. Perfect snack with a cup of coffee and without that artificial twinkie taste.
