We just reported yesterday that Tyler's Taproom, along with five other local beer stores, were named to Draft Magazine's Top 100 Beer Bars. Today, the craft beer just keeps on rolling into Downtown Raleigh. Not only does Seaboard Station have a new place to drink a beer, but now you can pop next door and grab some for the couch.

You can now pop around back at Tyler's Taproom, to a separate entrance, to grab one of over 400 different types of beers. Now, it looks like every corner of Downtown Raleigh has a place to get some great beer in the bottle. Tyler's Taproom opened in mid-December and has quite a large beer selection of its own. Seaboard Station currently has a great place to buy wine (and some beer) in Seaboard Wine, so it's great to see options in this area, especially in the beer category.

The shop is currently still stocking up, but from the looks of the current stock, Tyler's Bottle Shop will definitely be a great place to pick up a quick six pack or Belgian bottle on the East side of downtown. But, don't think you'll find Miller Light, the shop's most common beers at the shop are Guiness and most of the local North Carolina brands.

Tyler's Bottle Shop Hours

Raleigh should be re-named the Beer City/City of Beers.

I think Ashevilleans would take a dim view of that.
