Aesthetic Orgy Across Raleigh This Weekend

This is a weekend of unrivaled action across Raleigh’s visual scene. We thought a wrap-up post might help everyone put it in perspective.  So there is Artsplosure of course but Rebus Fest should provide a more highbrow visual experience up the street in Boylan Heights.

You can also catch a fashion show Friday night at Blue Martini. The work in galleries across the city is exceptional this month.  Highly recommended is Herb Jackson Retrospective at Artspace and Jason Whitman presents Art Monsters at Morning Times

Of course there are not one, but THREE - Architectural Tours. Modernist home Tour, Raleigh Home Tour and of course the Henside the Beltline Tour d’Coop 2008.

Take a break at one of the Restaurants Participating in Restaurant Week before it ends Sunday.

The weather forecast looks nice for Saturday and Sunday--I’m excited about the weekend!

Just a quick note - It’s the DOWNTOWN Raleigh Home Tour, not just the Raleigh Home Tour as referenced in the third paragraph.
