Adam Peele, the local go-to-guy for great screenprinting and original tee designs, is now taking operations beyond the internet with the opening of the new retail Ahpeele location on Capital Blvd. His artwork has often been shown at FM Goods & Sounds, and most recently at new The Black Flower Bar on Peace Street. Not only will the store stock Ahpeele originals, but plans to carry other local clothing and handmade goods.
This Friday night, the new store opens First Friday style with a party beginning at 7:00. The evening will also feature a Raleigh Devil Installation (the Raleigh Devil being the brand’s ‘lil mascot) and art rooms (rooms made into art pieces themselves) by Meredith Jackson and Carrie Leicht.
There is literally only one way to get there, but the place can be a little easy to miss as the driveway is RIGHT past the bridge downtown where McDowell turns into Capital Blvd. Prepare to turn right after you pass all the government buildings. Below is the flyer, which also has directions and a map.
Designs will, of course, still be available on the Ahpeele website.
