Brewmasters, located on the corner of Martin and Dawson, is home to a bevvy of tasty taps and a delicious new menu.  This Friday they will try to (as they put it) "ease you into your Shabbatt ritual" (and possibly provide you with some Black Friday stress relief) with a showing of The Big Lebowski on the big screen.

The cult classic about a trio of would be bowling league champs who get tangled up in a case of kidnapping, embezzlement and various other unchecked aggressions is held in high regard as one of the great comedies of our generation.  Surely most people who know of this film would abide by this assessment.

Brewmasters will be having specials related to the films nod to alcohol consumption, but alas there will be no prizes, at least, not this time around.  The Colony has been doing a pretty good job of that festive aspect associated with the film in years past.  Feel free to dress the part if you'd like.  Robes encouraged.  This event is FREE and starts at 10pm.

I hope they bought the rights.  Otherwise, kinda illegal.

Know what would be cool for a news type kind of website? Find out and then report on if Brewmasters bought the rights. Or, maybe, ask the Hollywoods Corporate Suits if the bar bought the rights. Or find out what happens if you don’t buy the rights. Or find out if it is just fine and dandy and no rights are necessary. Is there a trend of bars doing this? Etc.
