Billionaires Against Healthcare

“LET THEM EAT ADVIL! LET THEM EAT ADVIL!”

“But buy it yourself! We’re not giving you that for free either.”

On August 13th, at a town hall meeting in Durham conducted by Congressman David Price, a group calling themselves Billionaires Against Healthcare showed up to deliver the preceding message.

Perhaps we will get to hear some more from the Billionaires and their fake pearls and cigars.

For more information about the group or if you want to become a Billionaire yourself (the Billionaires are interested in Billionaires and aspiring Billionaires only) email BillionairesAgainstHealth@gmail.com.

Fantastic.  I was at that rally.  I wish I had caught up with those folks.

Great! This is nice poking fun at those that are behind the antihealthcare groups!

I have a friend that is for government healthcare and more social programs.

But the funny thing is he cheats on his taxes!  I found that ironic.  Then it made me wonder how many people are for more social causes but think they dont have to pay their full share for the causes…

When they find out what their “fair share” actually is, no one.

I was at a rally where the parody people were at.  The parody people had anger…but so did the anti gov health care people.  The video is misleading.  Im not even sure what these protests do anymore…except divide people even more.  As long as your on one side or the other right?  There couldn’t possibly be a better way.

The better way is for both sides to arm themselves with facts rather than the idiocy of the anti’s.  And, the pro’s need also to know what they are for.  Most of the anti’s who are carrying guns, against Obama, carrying signs equating Obama with Hitler, Stalin, etc, have tipped into the racist bigotry side and are using healthcare as an excuse.  I am all the way liberal and do not think we need profit making corporations involved in life and eath decisions which is our current system.  If we eliminated HMO’s and insurance companies and instead had a quasi governmental agency, the cost would go down to about 10-12% of GDP vs the current 20-25% (in California it is expected to be 40% in 5 years, in Pennsylvania, close to 50%).

This was great! I wish they would go to washington and all the tea parties! I was very impressed! By the way my 87 year old mother is caught in the donut hole and a friend who is going to tea parties asked me what that was! And she went to Washington for the tea party there!
