The Raleigh Rockers, Birds of Avalon, will play their first show in their hometown since Art on the Edge in Lichtin Plaza back in August. BoA will headline the show with local bands The T’s, The Luckiest Girls and The Loners opening.
If you haven’t seen Birds of Avalon live, this will be a fabulous chance to see them shred the Lincoln Stage. If it’s anything like their performance at Cradle for the Cy Rawls benefit, expect a few of your senses to hurt afterwards. That was, hands down, the best performance I saw by a Raleigh band in 2008. Plus, tickets are only a mild $5.
Also, don’t miss The Loners with The Rosebuds next week at The Pour House.
