Back in November, downtown’s long-standing breakfast joint, The Biscuit Station, became Mema’s Biscuits. Not much of anything changed, except that in February they began offering 10% off to college students. However, beginning April 13th, Mema’s Biscuits will start serving a very limited lunch menu and staying open an additional two hours. Unfortunately, they plan to stop breakfast service at 11:30. Fortunately, the fries and chili will be homemade.
Since the proposed smoking ban is all the buzz, here is a visual aid showing this fine establishment’s “solution”.

Unheard of! Biscuit Station has closed at 12 noon, SHARP, for decades! Tim, can I still get my tomato, egg and cheese at 12:15??? Any word of the Peacock Manor’s official position on this change?
We are now serving lunch AND breakfast until 2pm.
You may get breakfast or lunch all day long. We offer the students a 10% discount and all public safety workers (have to be in uniform) a free drink with a food purchase. Come by and see us. We are thinking about having a limited delivery area; but that is still in the works. Should you have a special occasion, please call us @ 828-2795 and we will be glad to discuss options with you. Ask for Lori or Leigh.
