Adam Cave Fine Art will host an Evening of Fashion and Photography in conjunction with the Contemporary Art Museum on Friday, June 20th beginning at 7:45 pm. The event is private, although you can RSVP before June 19. Area photographers Stephen Aubuchon, Diana Bloomfield, Andrew Ross and Kim Kauffman will work with Miranda Laughlin as she shows her BLEIGHM line of apparel and celebrates her first solo fashion show.
Laughlin is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. Having worked as model herself, Laughlin says “BLEIGHM is about the gorgeous feeling all women seek.”
“When I began my career in fashion as a model more than a decade ago, I knew someday it would be my designs that were turning the heads on the runway,” said Laughlin. “I am so thankful that my move back to Raleigh to start my line has been met with such enthusiasm and support.”
The event will also be the debut of the Contemporary Art Museum’s Young Friends Group.
The CAM Young Friends Group is a special membership group for young professionals dedicated to broadening an understanding of and encouraging conversation related to contemporary art and culture in the greater Triangle community. It seeks to cultivate future leadership for the Contemporary Art Museum by nurturing the next generation of art collectors and contemporary art supporters. Through special events, the group supports the greater mission of CAM by providing its members with a wealth of social and educational activities created by and for their peers.
