I don’t know Andrew, personally, but I have said hello as I’ve crossed the bridge on my way out of the neighborhood. He is exactly the kind of proprietor a business needs. Making money, I assume, is important to him, but I sense that creating an environment for just good drinking and interesting conversation is just as important. That makes me happy. The long wait is of no consequence to me or, shortly, I would suspect, to anyone. Excellent.

Good things come to those who wait.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder.

    Anticipation increases the pleasure.

Rome wasn’t built in a day.

    Easy does it.

Slow and steady wins the race.

This will be a most excellent “third place” and a true neighborhood bar.  Congratulations, Andy!
