Boylan Bridge Brewpub Hires Cook and Brewer

In this week’s installment of the slowly generating news about Boylan Bridge Brewpub….They’ve hired a head cook and brewer! They have a manager, cook and brewer…now they just need a finished space customers.

From their website -

The Boylan Bridge has hired it’s head cook and brewer. Thad Alan Petit, our new head cook, is originally from Ohio and has lived and worked in Raleigh for the last fifteen years. His cooking philosophy centers on fresh local ingredients.

After an extensive search of brewing afficionados nationwide we have enlisted Mark Fesche to operate the brewery. Mark has been involved with brewing and breweries from Oregon to Delaware. Of course, North Carolina is where the hops meet the fan, or the fermenter. So let’s get our ‘beer-on’. Much more to come about Mark and Thad, including photos, so stay tuned.

    There’s drywall going up, too!

I noticed that too, Lisa.  For the first time I saw lights on in that building over the weekend, suggesting actual progress is being made.

Have they set a new date yet?  Feels strange not to have a soft opening scheduled for an arbitrary date this establisment has no chance of being open by!
