Restaurants

Boylan Bridge Brewpub One Step Closer

One of the final steps in opening a restaurant is the health inspection. For many restaurants this is what keeps them from opening on the projected date. It looks like Boylan Bridge Brewpub secured their health inspection on Tuesday and therefore could open any day they wish. Please let it be Saturday, 60F and Sunny. Perfect day to enjoy the Raleigh skyline with beer in hand.

Apparently, there’s some buzz building about the pub, but we wouldn’t know anything about that. Also, Coal Porter has been switched to Pullman Porter.

“In this economy, people might think Leager is crazy to open a business. He argues that it is our civic duty to come and drink his beer.”

Haha, well if I must I will make the sacrifice… repeatedly.  smile

I’m actually getting a little excited about the potential for this place opening now.

Considering some family business this weekend with Mr. Leager I wouldn’t count on the opening until next week. Or so my sources tell me.

I liked Coal Porter, but I equally like the new name.

I suppose we should expect a line about the sons of pullman porters…
