Boylan Pale Ale and Golden Beer Complete

The Boylan Bridge Brewpub Beer Watch continues….Just in time for winter (spring?), it looks like Boylan Bridge Brewpub will actually have some beers. We reported a week ago that they had started making beer and now they already have two beers complete. They say a winter beer is on its way, but will this be for this winter or next?

One Pale Ale batch complete, Golden complete, Winter Warmer under way.

Are they bottling and selling at local markets/out front? or has there been any progress on the inside of this establishment?

I doubt they are going to bottle, the advantage of a brewpub is that you don’t have to spend the time and ridiculous amount of money to buy and operate a bottling machine. Looks like we will have to wait until they open.

Yeah, I figured that.  Just wondered what they were going to do with the beer until they open the restaurant.

They should have some tastings on the patio!

All of the recent articles concern the beer, I am very curious about the timeline for the grand opening!

I spoke with Andrew just the other day and he says they really really hope to be open by Christmas.

This is very exciting.  But I do lament more brewers not diving into the Lager market.  Expensive process to be sure, but sooo tasty.

open by christmas? really? santa better get busy.

  • 15012/10 11:38 AM

I agree, abbsouth.  From the looks of things, it’ll be a Christmas miracle if it’s open in two weeks.

Still hoping, but I’ll believe it when I see it.

Checked it out again last night…..Yes, the brewing equipment is in upstairs.  No, the downstairs doesn’t look ready.  Lots of work to be done in two weeks.

Dare I say it, this could actually be a reality…  http://boylanbridge.com/gallery1.html

Looks like the interior is pretty much ready for people.

    Serendipity:

Walking across the bridge on Monday night, I spied Andrew in the Brewpub drinking what appeared to be a cold one. I knocked on the door and he let me and my traveling companions in. But more importantly, he offered up a sample—wonderful, refreshing and delicious. He tells me it’s not long now… so look for me at the corner of the bar.
