Carolina Rollergirls Holding Tryouts
Sk8 or Die!
For the first time in this roller derby league’s history, women 18 years old and up will now be allowed to tryout! They’re looking for ladies that already have a solid basic skating foundation, so if it’s been a while, it’s recommended you strap some wheels to your feet and attend the open skate sessions ($5/hrs rink fee). Currently, there are speed practices that individuals interested in trying out can attend on Wednesdays and Fridays from 6 - 7 pm and a Skills practice on Saturdays from 8 - 10 am. It is highly recommend you attend speed practices through the upcoming weeks to build your strength and endurance.

Tryouts will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 8 a.m. at their training facility, the Skate Ranch of Raleigh. The Skate Ranch is located at 2901 Trawick Rd.
