NCSU Libraries will be holding an open discussion about the Jim Hunt Library on January 21st and 22nd. Internationally acclaimed Architects, Snøhetta will be present for the two meetings, and the latest sets of plans will be on hand. This will be the first peek at what is expected to be the new signature building for Centennial campus, and perhaps NC State in general. The two sessions will take place in Assembly room 2130 in the East Wing of D.H. Hill Library: Wednesday Jan 21 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm (pizza and drinks will be served) Thursday Jan 22 11:30 am to 12:30 pm (lunch served) Despite some other news agencies' skepticism this promises to be an exciting building, and these meetings demonstrate NC State's dedication to bringing the public into the decision making process for this important piece of Architecture.
