Tonight is the first lecture in the College of Design at NC State’s Fall Lecture Series. The list includes a handful of different speakers from various areas of the design field, from The Rural Studio to former a Sci-Arc Professor to Urban Planning to Finnish Architecture. The first lecture is Kim Tanzer who graduated from the College in 1983 and currently works at the College of Architecture at The University of Florida. Below is the text and fall schedule.
Burns Auditorium/Allred Gallery Naming Ceremony and Inaugural Lecture Set
Today, Monday, August 27, 2007, the College of Design will hold the naming ceremony of the Aaron Allred Gallery and Robert Paschal Burns Auditorium in the newly renovated Kamphoefner Hall at 6:30 p.m. with the inaugural lecture in Burns Auditorium at 7 p.m. by Alumna Kim Tanzer (M.Arch. 1983), President, Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture and Professor of Architecture at the University of Florida.
