Council Preparing for an Earful

A Quick Reminder: Tonight at 6:30 the City Council will hold a public hearing on Impact Fees and Teardowns. If you have the need to voice your opinion on either of these topics you should be at the meeting. Expect many established Raleigh citizens to be there representing Community Scale and defending what they believe is the traditional integrity of Raleigh’s neighborhoods. Expect Real Estate and newcomers to be there representing Renew Raleigh and the new trees for garage exchange program.

We have been waiting for a battle royale for a while and now there is talk of a large cage being airlifted in to Nash square. Old citizens are cautious though, Renew Raleigh is known for having access to heavy machinery and bulldozing anything that stands in the way of enormous ugly houses.
