First Look: Civic Icon Illuminated
Update: At 8:45 pm on Thursday, Sept. 4, Cree CEO and Chairman Chuck Swoboda will join Mayor Charles Meeker to flip the switch and light the Shimmer Wall for the first official time.
This Week Cree’s LED lighting system behind the Shimmer wall was turned on, presenting the city with a rainbow of light. Click above for larger images.

I looks ok I guess but not nearly as cool as it looks during the day. I was hoping it would look better at night I personally think that it dulls out the picture kinda hiding the cool aspects of the wall. I would recommend checking it out on a breezy day with good sunlight.
