Local (but known beyond this region) blogger Dean McCord has received an opportunity he can not pass up. After announcing that he wanted to work a couple of shifts in a local restaurant, something he had never done before, he received 15 offers and has accepted two. He will be working at both The Globe Restaurant on Glenwood South and Heron’s at The Umstead.
Dean states “So come and heckle me at Globe or Herons on those nights. Who knows, I just might do a decent job.” Hell yeah, you’ll do a decent job man!
