Dos Taquitos Day of the Dead Bike Ride Sunday

Dos Taquitos Centro is dropping some Mexican culture into the mix of Halloween events in Downtown Raleigh this weekend. On Sunday November 1st, the restaurant is sponsoring a Day of the Dead bike ride from downtown to the new LoDi Project in Mordecai and back to the restaurant for food and drinks.

The Day of the Dead (El Día de los Muertos or All Souls' Day) is a holiday celebrated in Mexico that focuses on gatherings of family and friends to remember friends and family members who have died.
Here at DTC have several loved ones how have passed and would like to honor with a semi-traditional celebration.

On Nov 1st we are going to do our 1st Day of the Death Bike Ride. Be here at 5:00pm on your best Calavera (Catrin-Catrina) costume, for a 5 mile bike ride around downtown. We will be stopping at The LoDi project the newest gallery in dowtown to check out their Day of the Day exhibit, refreshments will be served. Then we head back to the restaurant for a traditional buffet and cash bar.

$12 per person (which includes the buffet).
