Earth Day at NCMA

Steven Siegel - To See Jennie Smile in the NCMA Park

This Saturday | 11 a.m.–3 p.m.
Museum Park | Free | Rain or Shine

Art Workshop from 2008 festivalGather family and friends for Earth Day at the NCMA, a free day of “green” fun celebrating art and nature throughout our 164-acre Museum Park.

Discover innovative environmental works of art along our nature trails on a guided Park tour. Learn fun and easy ways to be green from environmental educators, and take part in eco-friendly activities and art workshops featuring reusable materials.

Enjoy live entertainment all afternoon. Popular local bands—The Old Ceremony, No Strings Attached, Carnavalito, and Sandbox—will keep things hopping on the festival stage.

Soles4Souls Shoe Drive
Admission to Earth Day at the NCMA is free, but consider bringing a pair of gently worn shoes for donation to Soles4Souls, a charity distributing shoes to those in need around the world. We’ll have collection boxes available at the festival.
