Epic Games Releasing Gears of War 3 in September

Microsoft and Epic Games have announced that the third part in their highly successful Gears of War video game series will debut not in April, as originally scheduled but on September 20th. You may remember that the Cary company's sequel to Gears of War was named one of the best games of the decade back in 2009 by Paste Magazine. Therefore, part three has a lot to follow but we're sure it will leave up to the wait and hype considering the level of quality that tends to come out of the Epic headquarters.

Earlier this week Epic released Bullet Storm, a space shooter by their subsidiary People Can Fly, a polish development shop that worked closely with the American team.  The game is an FPS but allows a player to pull off grusome combos, "skillshots," on their foes where you grab and toss enemies as you riddle their bodies with bullets.  Bullet Storm is availible in stores now.

    I hope those kids are socking away their paychecks and don’t think they will be making games into their 40’s.
