Epic to Reveal New Video Game (Gears of War 3) on Jimmy Fallon Monday

Cliff Bleszinski, design director at Cary’s Epic Games, was scheduled to be on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Thursday but was bumped for Justin Bieber and has been moved to Monday. The appearance is to announce a “brand new game” by Epic. Revealing a blockbuster video game on late night television is, to quote Epic, “a landmark not just for Epic but for video games as a form of entertainment.”

While Epic Games can’t officially state anything more about the announcement, there is huge speculation (and a leaked advertisement) that points towards Gears of War 3 being announced by Bleszinski. The game is scheduled to come out in April 2011, according to the advertisement. This makes a lot of sense, considering Gears of War 1 & 2 were both massive hits in the past few years (including a few Best of Lists in 2009).

UDPATE: We hear there will be a second game revealed as well. Gears of War for the iPad? Doubtful, but would be very cool.
