Starting Friday night and continuing until Sunday afternoon, The Fish Market basement art gallery at the corner of Hargett and Fayetteville Streets will be transformed into an Experimental Video Lounge. Video artists from around the Triangle will have visual alchemy streaming on walls, screens, ceilings and a handful of other surfaces in the space. With lounge furniture provided by Father and Son, the space could end up resembling a psychedelic mod bachelor pad from the 1960s.
Below are a couple of images from the artists who will be involved.
The three day pop up gallery is part of Sparkcon and is a collaboration between CAM, Artspace and New Raleigh with special thanks to Father and Son Antiques and AV Metro.
