Flaming Lips Add Triangle Date, Playing Downtown Raleigh Amphitheater
Can't say that we didn't call this one, The Flaming Lips announced yesterday that they will be playing a few Southern dates and will come through Raleigh on June 31st. Neon Indian, who has recently collaborated with the Lips will open the show. If you've never seen the Flaming Lips live, you will be in for a treat. No word yet on when tickets will be on sale.
Get ready for the space bubble in DTR!

Not only will the Flaming Lips be flying from the UK to perform one night in Raleigh, and then return to the UK the next day, they’ve also somehow managed to slow down the rotaion of the earth so that June has an extra day. Truly amazing!! Can’t wait for the show
