If you’ve been wishing that events like Durham’s Food Truck Rodeo were happening a little closer to home, Thursday night is your chance to cash in on a similar event right here in Raleigh. Big Boss Brewery is hosting their own Food Truck Harvest Thursday night, October 14th, and will keep the masses entertained with music and pumpkin carving as well. The Harvest will not only feature the well known Only Burger truck, but also the likes of Mom’s Delicious Dishes, Klausie’s, and Valentino’s trucks. In addition to the food options, they’re also going to stage a pumpkin carving competition and performances by The Loners, Steadham, Richard Bacchus and the Luckiest Girls, Skullbuckle, and The Trousers.
Big Boss will be selling a variety of their brews, including their Harvest Time Pumpkin Ale, Big Operator Belgian Black Raspberry, and High Roller IPA, among others including local favorites Bad Penny and Angry Angel.
While food trucks are still prohibited in downtown Raleigh, this round up takes place close enough for most of us to enjoy without having to venture all the way to Durham or Chapel Hill, or worse, Capital Blvd. The event starts at 5pm at the brewery, with the bands starting at 6:30. More information can be found at the Big Boss website.
