In light of the popularity of the Big Boss and Duck Rabbit events last month, The Raleigh Times will continue to host local cask ale nights in the new year.  The next event - Wed. Jan 21st at 6:00pm - will feature three offerings from Foothills Brewing of Winston-Salem: Total Eclipse Stout (7% abv, 48 IBU, 46 SRM), Pilot Mountain Pale Ale (4.75%, 43 IBU), and the incredibly hoppy and delicious Hoppyum IPA (6.3%, 70 IBU).

Be advised: if the previous events are any indicator, the brews will sell out quick.  Plan to arrive early if you want to be sure to get a taste.

That’s the worst part Chad….I never learned how to read!  Or they edited this post to add the date and time…jerk.

A little sensitive are we Woody? Take it easy on those estrogen pills.

    Woody,
Your comeback was much more on point with crafty sarcasm pointing to your inability to read.  Chad’s question of your ability to read was too straighforward and lacked awesomeness under all blog hate categories.

My analysis:  Chad 0, Woody 1

Plus, Chad needlessly antagonized, then opted for a really lame round 2 with the estrogen bit.

    Chad 0, Woody 2

On topic, however, it sounds like these Cask Nights are popular.

    150,
I applaud your follow up with re-score and all.  Cask Nights are popular and Foothills is a great brewery.  This one should be good.  When they are out of the cask ale, PBR will be available for sure.
