Fosters Gone Ugly Closed

According to the Downtowner (and a quite familiar photo), Foster’s Gone Ugly in Five Points has closed. I know you’re surprised, because we didn’t see that one coming.

I never went and it may have been a fantastic place but judging by the name I’m guessing they didn’t do much market research.

Come on, would you REALLY frequent the Stingray again if it was somehow able to be miraculously brought back? It isn’t DOWNTOWN!

I’m mostly joking…Mostly. The Stingray was my favorite bar to date in my life. I miss it dearly, but think that its time has long passed. Besides, that space was completely gutted when Foster’s part one remodeled, so all the Stingray charm, and smell, is gone.
