After jumping around the UK for the month of February, New Raleigh favorites Future Islands are coming back to Raleigh on Friday and this time performing with Goner. Judging from the crowd and excitement from their last show at Berkeley, this one should be another sweat filled evening.
Triangle/Triad electro/dance-punk favorites Future Islands return to Raleigh with their Wham City collective colleague Ed Schrader. Raleigh’s beloved power pop trio Goner will open the show Friday, March 6th at the Berkeley Café.
Presented by Blatant Mischief Promotions, this promises to be a night to dance, laugh, and rock out with a glance to nostalgia, and a nod to the future, all awash in the glorious moment that is now. We’ll see you at the Berkeley Café! Doors open at 9pm, $6 cover for 21+, $8 for 18+. Valid identification and dancing shoes required.

Loves me some Art Lord / Future Islands, only negative thing about them is they remind me that I went to ECU for undergrad :(
Don’t be ashamed of ECU. It’s certainly a lot more fun than some other schools i’ve attended afterward.
Yeah, gemorris. Don’t knock the pirates. Wooooo. Paint it purple!
What you have to understand about Greenville is that it is like the planet Arrakis. If you can survive there you will take over the fucking universe. Fremen class of ‘98!
I too miss seeing these guys as Art LOrd at Peasants in Greenville. NostalgIA!
