Following the in path of many Raleigh bands that have come and gone (that list would be an article unto itself), Grass Widow are going the way of yesterday. Drew Wood, the guitarist and lead vocalist is moving to Florida. According to bassist Mike Dillon: “Grass Widow is taking a long respite so Drew can go to Full Sail Music College to become the next Brian Eno or something. Good Luck Drew!”
Tonight is the last night to catch them in action. Hopefully they’ll still have some copies of their EP available to those who haven’t had to a chance to grab one.
