The Handmade Market: Because “Mall” is a Four-Letter Word

Another year, another fabulous handmade market in downtown, this year at Marbles Kids Museum. Should be quite colorful! N.C. design and craft collective The Handmaidens announce the 6th semiannual installment of The Handmade Market. The Handmade Market is a one-day, indoor designer shopping event featuring handmade goods from 50 artists, designers and crafters from N.C. and beyond. The event runs from 11am until 5pm on Saturday, November 8, 2008, at our new location, Marbles Kids Museum (201 E. Hargett St.) in downtown Raleigh.

Free Handmade Market totes to the first 500 guests and a charity raffle to benefit The Wake County Autism Society. The event is produced by The Handmaidens, an N.C. art and craft collective.
