He’s Back! Sir Walter Raleigh

The News and Observer is reporting that the bronze statue of Sir Walter Raleigh is returning to the capital after undergoing repairs and cleaning in Cincinnati. Mayor Meeker will perform the unveiling tomorrow night at 10:40pm at Raleigh Wide Open 2 on Fayetteville Street.

After the ceremony, the statue will be placed at the corner of Salisbury and South streets.
