Ignite Raleigh is Tomorrow Night

The guys at #ourhashtag are the social media dynamo’s of RTP. They have regularly organized events for the area’s internet and social media geeks, each one drawing large crowds with high energy. Ignite Raleigh is one of the crowning events for the team.

The event is an evening of presentations by local bloggers and folks that have something to share, as well as a few local celebrities including Elizabeth Gardner of WRAL meteorologist fame, and Henry Copeland, CEO of blog ads. The presentations are about everything from female empowerment, web strategies, energy conservation, zombies and architecture. Each presentation is just 5 minutes and 20 slides- one slide every 15 seconds. More about the speakers here.

Everything starts Wednesday night at 7pm at the Lincoln Theatre. Come out and support your community thinkers, and maybe catch a little presentation by little old me.
