It’s a Typhoon. Downtown Scavenger Hunt!

Last night I recieved an invitation to participate in the Raleigh Typhoon, sponsored by a website known as the SchizophrenicOctopus.

The scavenger hunt will take place on September 8th, and will require a digital camera able to hold 25 pictures, $10 for local purchases to earn points, and a 21 and up age requirement. Team Registration will being at Tir Na Nog and The Big Easy from 12-2:30pm on Sept. 8th. (Earlybird Registration is also available at Schizophrenic Octopus.) The hunt will officially begin at 1:30pm and end at 8:00pm.

There is also an After Party begining at 9:30pm at The Office. Free Admission for scavenger hunt participants!

Although I’m already confirmed with another team, I think this would be a great way to get some publicity for this blog! We should participate and spread the word, and make use of a little verbal advertising.

Grand Prize: $1000 cash, and $1000 in Prizes
Second Place: $1000 in Prizes
Third Place: $500 in Prizes
