John Kane Hosts President Bush For McCrory Fundraiser

The Commander and Chief will be making a visit to a lowly North Hills neighborhood Friday afternoon.  John Kane, the North Hills Mall developer, is hosting the afternoon party in an effort to build financial support for gubernatorial candidate Pat McCrory.  Not one to miss out on the action, the President will make an appearance to campaign for the candidate.  Kane, an ardent Republican supporter, has previously hosted fundraising events for Senator Dole and given contributions to City Council Candidate Jessie Taliaferro.

Of course big business would support a republican.

Thanks big daddy kane for getting 40 shut down during rush hour and doubling my commute time. The exits were closed off yet you couldn’t even go over the bridge to take 54. Great planning. Glad I could do my part to help the mayor of Charlotte raise funding in his bid to become governor.

I was hoping for something like that to kick off my weekend.

wow. im glad i heard about this.

i will never support north hills (or any of this guy’s projects) just because of his direct support for war crimes against humanity by hosting this dinner.

its a very very sad day for the growth of raleigh.

Yeah, it gives me pause about North Hills now.  But I have to give some of the businesses there (Ben & Jerry’s, Urban Food Group, etc) the benefit of the doubt that they’re simply just his tennants and don’t support what he does.

Republican/Democrat, it’s all the same.  Support whomever you want, they all have their flaws.

Iv’e heard nothing but good things about McCrory, whereas normally state politics are somewhat ho-hum for me.

How many of the above are native north carolinians? I’d venture to say none… Raleigh used to be a great place to live until you, let me think of the right word here “bitter” transplants started to infest it… here is a thought why don’t you move back… Raleigh would be a much better place without you…

I’m actually born and raised North Carolina thank you very much.  Let’s try not to start arguements here based on location.  You’re the one that sounds “bitter”.
