If you are familiar with the fight for equal rights for Food Truck in Downtown Raleigh, you are sure to know Mike Stenke’s name. Mike runs the Klausie’s Pizza Truck that has been bouncing around Downtown Raleigh lately (including a weekly stop on NC State’s Centennial Campus, a regular collaboration with Big Boss Brewery and a sell-out at Cooke Street Carnival this year). Mike is one of the main truck owners who is pushing for Downtown Raleigh to allow food trucks to operate inside the grid.
We have been lucky enough to get Klausie’s to be part of the New Raleigh Christmas Party at Kings Barcade next Thursday December 16th. If you haven’t had a slice of Klausie’s, you will do yourself a favor by stopping by the truck on the way into the show that night. We’ll almost guarantee that he’ll come close to selling out (of both mac & cheese and pizza).
If nothing else, come out and check out what a food trucks looks like decorated for the holidays.
You can read more about Mike’s fight for food trucks in Downtown Raleigh in the Indy Week.

Christmas Food Trucks Klausie's Pizza
So where is the truck parking since it is not legal to park on public streets in Raleigh?
Ah, so they are not charging for the pizza, New Raleigh is paying for it all? How very nice! I hope they bring a lot of that mac & cheese!
I’m sorry but I have eaten off this pizza truck. Gross. Dirty and a layer of oil on the bottom. I can’t even understand why the guy behind this food truck would be so kind to take his own position and say he makes the 3rd best pizza in the nation. The nation. Wow and if it’s the 3rd best all you have to show for it is a food truck. That goes out and stirs up media and crap to what? You’re push’n the city of raleigh to the point where they will find anyway to put you and other/ better food trucks out of business. You come off dumb and as a loose canon.
Eff the haterzzzzz. Klausie’s is delicious.
