Awesome….I can hear the convention visitors getting fatter!

It should fit in nicely with a Jimmy Johns, and the kabab place.

Couldn’t we get some more local businesses at these locales?

  • RaleighRob10/21 11:43 AM

^It is a North Carolina company.

^KK is fairly local, the kabab establishment isn’t a chain that I know of, and the art galary will sell local wares/gifts/trinkets.  Other than JJ’s I would say they did a pretty good job of keeping it local.

Although there is no pleasing some people, and you seem to be one of those types!

I’m pretty sure all the businesses except for Jimmy John’s is based in Raleigh or North Carolina…that’s pretty local I’d say?

The Shish Kabob place is owned by the same guy that owns Sam and Wally’s in the BB&T building downtown.  Local.

Thats cool, glad to see a KK going there.  Now if we could beef up the hotel room stock.

what jrd said. we have to have more hotels downtown if we want to attract people, businesses, performing arts, conventions, meetings, etc to downtown. two-ish hotels downtown seems like plenty but it’s really not even close.

kudos city plaza! this krispy kreme will do very very well. walking distance for all downtown business women and men, which will be the lifeblood of their success. unlike the dunkin location on glenwood that went under. thats mostly a night life strip, not a place to go get a coffee and doughnut location.

All local and even JJ’s is a local franchise owner.
