Hipsters, critics and tweens all agree, Lady Gaga is worth all the hype that has been thrown her way over the past two years. The former music producer turned fashion icon and pop princess will bring all of her flamboyant costumes and gorgeous electro-pop to Raleigh’s RBC Center on September 19th.
Lady Gaga was scheduled to play Greensboro last year but the tour was cancelled. Gaga will also play Charlotte the night before coming to Raleigh.
Ticket information coming soon.

I know they are going to be haters, but I am kinda glad that Raleigh is on the tour. I myself, will be there !
The gays are going wild over this. I’ve gotten no less than 15 ZOMG!‘s from friends this afternoon. That she saved us for last makes them feel all sparkly and warm inside.
Surprised she decided to come. It was my understanding that she was basing the visit on what she thought was the all but certain approval of the Lightner Center by the City Council.
Let’s make a sandwich!
Really?
Saw her in Miami on New Year’s Eve. She gives a great concert and it going will remind oldsters of 1984 when Madonna was hitting the scene. All the teeny-girls will be dressed like her and all the boys look like they came right of the movie Breakfast Club.
All in all, great fun! I highly recommend her.
I’m so excited that Raleigh is included on this tour - can’t wait to see her perform!
I’m kinda busy.
Outside R-Line route, I won’t go.
seriously?! well, whooptie-freakin-doo…
Maybe I should clarify my position:
I’m kind-a biz-eee
I’m kind-a biz-eee
Seriously - you know this will be a fantastic show!
Real dance—real show—real rock—real talent—REAL FUN—OH YEAH
#LadyGaga = #SoulBride
This information is best dispensed through the Weekend section of the N & O. BTW, Phish is playing Walnut Creek the same evening, and neither venue has public transportation from downtown or from anywhere else in the city.
OK cool! Go Phish! Also excellent!
Now I’m not a huge Lady Gaga fan, but to anyone that criticizes her for the crazy stuff she pulls you need to realize that there’s definitely passion for music flowing inside her. The clothes, makeup, etc etc are all jut a gimmick.
Watch this early performance of her at NYU when she was still just Stefani Germanotta:

I’ll definitely be there - there’s no way it won’t be entertaining.
Prob not as cool (to some ppl, and I say to that, FU), but I’ll be seeing Chrissie Hynde at the Cat’s Cradle.
