The City of Raleigh is planning a new bus line that will provide service in a loop around the Downtown and Glenwood South areas in 2009. A public forum will be held today at 3:30pm to discuss the new route.

Public Input Wanted!
The City of Raleigh will have an open forum on a proposed downtown circulator bus service. The forum will be held on Thursday, Nov. 20 from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in Room 303 of the Avery C. Upchurch Government Complex, located at 222 W. Hargett St. At this forum, Raleigh citizens will have the opportunity to drop-by and provide input regarding proposed routing and suggested stops for the downtown circulator service.

Actually, this is a pretty decent start. Couldn’t but I’ll try to send them some comments otherwise. I think they just need to add a couple more spots…one at the corner of Morgan and Glenwood (to give access to Boylan Heights and West Morgan Apartment residential areas) and another at the corner of Dawson and Martin (to give better access to Warehouse District). But otherwise, it looks pretty decent!
