Tonight will be the last time you can let your kids loose in the back lot of Seaboard Station while sipping on a Carolina Brewing Brew and munching on local pizza and Peace China. The Music on the Porch series, which started four years ago in front of Capital City Grocery (remember that place?), will lose its location due to apartment construction beginning in the next year.

Tonight’s event features a few downtown neighborhood bands (including a couple of bands of high school and middle school students) as well as Zydecopious. So go out a give some support to a great event that has been a staple for many over the past few years in the Downtown area. The organizers plan on looking for a new location but one has yet to be announced. If you want more info on future events, join their mailing list here.

Info on the bands performing tonight:

6pm—7:20pm. There are three very talented groups from the local neighborhood performing.

- Thud Muffins—Ben Goodall, Dexter Hunn, Julian Baneth, Caelan Eckard ( Middle School )

Our headliner!!!! Zydecopious starts up at 7:30pm Sharp… and plays until 9:30pm…. ( lets just call them all old men )
