The owner of one of the newest art galleries in town, The LoDi Project on North Blount, Georges Le Chevallier has put out a call for local artists to create art for a benefit for Haiti. Georges’s cousin Gerard Le Chevallier worked in Haiti during the Earthquake and is still missing. The show will be from Friday February 5th - Sunday the 7th. All proceeds from the art show will go to Mercy Corps and designated to the immediate relief of the Haitian people.
This is one of many ways you can give to Haiti through local businesses including eating at an Empire Eats restaurant today (Tuesday) and give clothes and supplies to Beleza in Cameron Village.
