London Bridge Pub Opens on Hargett Street
Last week London Bridge Pub opened its doors on Hargett Street. With British and American flags flying above the front door, the themed bar sits across the street from Landmark Tavern at 110 East Hargett St and offers a similar dark atmosphere. For now the public house is focused on booze and beer but the space is large enough to serve food too. Fayetteville Street's Oxford Bar is the other British themed bar downtown. To visit London Bridge Pub, you will need to become a member on their website. Former management from Glenwood South's Hibernian are responsible for the project.

The “table reservations” really do cast a pretentious light on the bar. Also, they should be planning on handing out $1 memberships at the door. If people get turned away because they haven’t filled out an online membership, this place is doomed.

I completely forgot about needing memberships where alcohol is served but food isn’t. My last membership (I think) was at Have A Nice Day Cafe.
