LoveBug Call for Artists

The Call for Artists is now open for the second annual LoveBug fundraiser for Toxic Free NC - check it out!

The Great Bug Draw Off will be on First Friday, August 6th at Epona & Oak in City Market. Pictures from last year’s competition. Artists will make bug art live in several rounds of competition, which will be sold in a silent auction that night to benefit Toxic Free NC. The deadline for artists to enter the competition portion of the event is Weds, June 23rd.

There will also be a month-long exhibit of artists’ work on buggy and environmental themes at Epona & Oak in August. Proceeds from the sale of that art will also benefit Toxic Free NC’s work to fight pesticide pollution in our state. The deadline for artists to submit pieces for the exhibit is Thursday, July 1st.
