Megafaun + Bon Iver = DeYarmond Edison, Once Again

So that video above is Bon Iver—Vernon, seated, with his new bandmates Matt McCaughan, Sean Carey and Mike Noyce—and Megafaun playing Megafaun’s “Worried Mind” at, of all places, The Filmore. Or DeYarmond Edison+.

So that quote above is Grayson Currin over at the Indy who has a detailing DeYarmond Edison’s history in the area and how the band spawned both Megafaun and Bon Iver. Both bands are hitting the high notes in record reviews over the past few years. Both bands have lots of bearded men. And, both bands are bouncing around the US together. They recorded a version of Megafaun’s Worried Mind together last week at The Filmore in San Francisco.

I’ll leave the rest of the details to Mr. Currin. Be sure to read all the postscript at the bottom. Lust + Chemicals = Gayngs?
