As goes the rage in the music world lately, Megafaun has released an elegantly filmed promo video for their upcoming self-titled Double LP coming in September. Megafaun also released a beautiful video for the song Carolina Days off of their Heretofore EP, which was released in 2010.
Especially loving the new Megafaun mountain-esque logo at the end of the new video. Megafaun is the band's third full-length album and will be out on Spetember 20th on Hometapes.

Is the album title a subtle tip-of-the-hat to their man, Justin Vernon’s self titled record, Bon Iver, Bon Iver? Now in a similar vein, Megafaun..
@Tyler
Since when did Bon Iver make the self-titled album an original idea?
One also has to wonder if they were influenced by Bon Iver’s idea of releasing a group of complimentary songs together and calling it an “album.”
@Poster - It’s a timely similarity for the chum’s bands to release albums bearing their namesake. I’m not suggesting Bon Iver created the idea..

Oh shit, Evanescence is subtly tipping her hat too.
Hold on…I wonder if the Beatles were futuristically tipping their hats in 1968 to Bon Iver. Maybe that’s why they were playing all that shit backwards. And that album had Why Don’t We Do It In the Road…and guess where that sneaky Megafaun did that video last year? IN THE GODDAMN MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. Fuck hat tipping, this shit is conspiracy laden.
OMG, Tyler… mind = blown
