GD, my fault,  Thank you for pointing out my ignorance.  That clears up OJ’s innocence.  That clears up John Edwards’ love child rumors. Also, the 1000’s of Big Tobacco settlements.

The jury also heard from another purported victim, who testified Jackson molested him when he was between the ages of 7 and 10.

The young man, the son of a Neverland maid, received a $2.4million settlement from Jackson.

The jury also heard that in 1993, Jackson paid a $20 million settlement to a 13-year-old boy.

The youth’s mother testified that Jackson browbeat her into letting the teen share a bed with the pop star - and rewarded her the next day with a gold bracelet from Cartier.

The mom recounted on the stand how the “sobbing, crying, shaking, trembling” singer shouted in anger when she balked at the sleeping arrangements.

“We’re a family!” he reportedly yelled. “Why can’t [he] sleep in my bed? ... Why don’t you trust me?”

Ok, so please show me where the verdict said “GUILTY” and you have a point.

I’ve heard the pay out shit before.  I’d pay people off to shut the hell up too if I had the kind of money he had.

So nothing that says guilt has been said yet.

and let me add this - im not necessarily a fan of michael jackson although i recognize he made great music.

I’m looking at this from a legal side of things. 

OJ was found guilty in a civil suit, but not criminal.  Michael Jackson was never found guilty.  End of it.

He’s celebrated because of what he did professionally and I think he should be recognized for it.

After seeing and hearing his daughter speak would I?  Most likely, yes I would.

I guess you didn’t hear the other children speak over the years.

It may be just me, but if you accused me of molesting children I would sue your ass off.  I would not give you a freaking dime, especially if I had the money to hire the best lawyers.  Maybe I’d settle once to avoid the bad press, but THREE times?  No way.  I would fight to the end.

But to your point, he must have been a wonderful father as his daughter’s comments were very powerful.  And what a beautiful girl.

But then again, Dennis Radar’s kids said the same…
